Looking for a good rainy, cold night movie? Inside Man may be just the ticket. Clive Owen as a monotone cool-cat bad guy. Jodie Foster as a wicked, cold blooded bitch and Denzel as the too smooth to be true cop. It all takes place at an amazingly choreographed bank heist with the motive of the bank robbery the big question.I can't say why I enjoyed it. I'm getting tired of analyzing movies. It kept me interested the whole time, the acting was good( I guess). Honestly I can't tell the difference between great acting and decent acting anymore. As long as it doesn't seem phony and over the top I'm sold. I mean I used to go check movie reviews and read what other critics wrote about actor's performances and then start second guessing my reaction to the film. I'm done with that. I'm going with my first reaction. If I like it, then that's my response. I don't need validation from a guy whose job it is to sit and watch 6 films a day, 5 days a week. Chances are he/she has probably lost any sense of logical perspective concerning the overall enjoyment of a film.
Ever seen the painting Oath of the Horatii, by Jacques Louis David? It was panned by critics in its time for having a lack of overall technical finesse, misproportioned anatomical features and forced human emotion. I think most people though upon first seeing the painting would be totally blown away.
Anyhow, Inside Man is a Whydunnit more than a Whodunnit and definitey worth waiting for the conclusion althought not quite the plot twist of Ususal Suspects(Hell, who can beat that?).
If I had to rate it I'd give it an 8/10. Is Niice!

Critics are losers. It's their nature; all they do is critique. To review is one thing, but critique should be left to all individuals. I like to hear albums and see movies without hearing anything about them. If I ever make a movie I'll make sure the ad campaign is nothing but telling the actors involved, and maybe a three to five second of them talking in the movie.
Anyways, it's impossible to stay away from all ads and I've seen a few for this movie. Sounds all right as it has Spike Lee at the helm. And I'm becoming a Clive Owen fan now; I like his style of speech.
Now, reviews of live shows are all right.
Great movie. You know what else is really great about that movie? Jodie Foster uses a Mac with a 30" cinema display. Beat that with your Wii baton! On a serious note, Clive Owen has another great movie. Children of Men. Kind of futureristic but nonetheless inspiring.
Not to mention it had a fab sound track too! Gotta love Chaiya Chaiya!! It's an Ipod must have!
